RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Every Venegas Designs piece is made to order and handcrafted in Los Angeles. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to ship. Because of that, our shipping process works a little differently than a typical furniture store.

Production & Lead Times

  • All pieces are built to order with an estimated production time of 4 to 8 weeks before delivery, depending on the complexity of your project.

  • Your estimated timeline will be confirmed when your order enters production.

  • Rush options may be available on select projects. Contact us to ask.

When Production Begins

  • Your order enters our production queue once your 50% production deposit has cleared.

  • The remaining balance is due in full before your order leaves our facility for delivery. No piece ships with an outstanding balance.

Delivery

  • Furniture and large items are delivered through our trusted white-glove delivery partners.

  • All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

  • Before signing, inspect every item and its packaging. Any damage must be photographed and noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Claims for visible damage cannot be accepted after the delivery receipt is signed clean.

  • If you notice concealed damage after unpacking, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can make it right.

Shipping Area

  • We currently deliver within the continental United States only.

Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds

Every piece we build is 100% custom, made specifically for you, to your measurements, in your fabric, with your specifications. Because your piece cannot be resold to anyone else, our deposit and refund terms are firm.

Design Consultation Deposit

  • In-home design consultations require a $500 deposit.

  • This deposit is credited in full toward your project when you move forward.

  • The consultation deposit is non-refundable.

Production Deposit

  • A 50% production deposit is required before any build begins.

  • Once your order enters the production queue, the production deposit is non-refundable and the order cannot be cancelled. At that point we have purchased materials and committed shop time specifically to your piece.

  • Change requests after production has started may not be possible and may carry additional charges if approved.

Final Balance

  • The remaining balance is due before delivery. Refunds do not apply to completed custom pieces.

Returns

  • All custom furniture is final sale and cannot be returned. This includes all made-to-order sofas, sectionals, bed frames, dining tables, chairs, desks, cabinetry, and millwork.

  • Clearance items and floor models, when offered, are also final sale.

If Something Is Wrong

We stand behind our work. If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or delivery damage that was properly documented at delivery, we will repair or replace it under the terms of our warranty at no cost to you. Our goal is never to leave you with a piece you are unhappy with due to a defect on our end.

Non-Refundable Charges

  • Delivery, assembly, installation, and additional service fees are non-refundable once performed.

Warranty

  • Every Venegas Designs piece carries a lifetime warranty on the frame and structural craftsmanship, covering manufacturing defects for as long as you own the piece.

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, fabric wear, fading, pilling, pet damage, stains, misuse, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper cleaning or relocation.

  • The warranty does not extend to motorized or mechanical components. Venegas Designs does not build pieces with motorized or mechanical parts for this reason.

  • The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
